Il percorso di studio ed approfondimento fin qui effettuato sul "Cristo di Lecco" ha avuto inizio e preso il suo avvio grazie, da una parte, ad una sollecitazione in tal senso pervenuta alla Proprietà del disegno dagli studiosi vinciani statunitensi prof. Jean-Pierre Isbout e dott. Christofer Heat Brown, dopo che quest'ultimi ebbero modo di visionare dal vivo il disegno nel giugno 2019, ma altresì grazie anche alla preliminare indagine tecnica-fotografica effettuata dal fotografo professionista Stefano Masciovecchio, con studio in Nova Milanese, che ha permesso, nel luglio dello stesso anno, da subito, di riuscire a mettere in luce alcune particolarità per vergatura del supporto del disegno stesso.

The path of study and in-depth analysis carried out up to now on the "Christ of Lecco" started thanks, on the one hand, to a solicitation in this sense received by the Property of the drawing by the American Leonardo scholars prof. Jean-Pierre Isbout and Dr. Christofer Heat Brown, after the latter had the opportunity to view the drawing live in June 2019, but also thanks to the preliminary technical-photographic investigation carried out by the professional photographer Stefano Masciovecchio, with a studio in Nova Milanese, which allowed, in July of the same year, immediately, to be able to highlight some particularities of the support of the drawing itself.

إنّ مسار الدراسة والتعمّق الذي أُنجز حتى الآن حول «مسيح ليكو» قد بدأ وانطلق، من جهةٍ أولى، بفضل تحفيزٍ في هذا الاتجاه وصل إلى مالكي الرسم من الباحثَين الأميركيَّين المتخصّصَين في دراسات ليوناردو، الأستاذ جان-بيير إيسبو والدكتور كريستوفر هيت براون، وذلك بعد أن أتيحت لهما فرصة معاينة الرسم مباشرةً في يونيو/حزيران 2019.
كما أسهم، من جهةٍ أخرى، التحقيقُ التقني-الضوئي الأوّلي الذي أجراه المصوّر المحترف ستيفانو ماسكيوفيكيو، صاحب الاستوديو في نوفا ميلانيزي، في تمكين الباحثين—في يوليو/تموز من العام نفسه—من إبراز بعض الخصائص المرتبطة بتخطيط ودقّات سطح دعامة الرسم منذ اللحظة الأولى.

迄今为止围绕《莱科的基督》所展开的研究与深入探索之路，得以启动并逐步展开，一方面源于美国列奥纳多研究学者让-皮埃尔·伊斯布教授（Jean-Pierre Isbout）与克里斯托弗·希特·布朗博士（Christopher Heat Brown）对该素描所有方所提出的研究建议——在他们于 2019 年 6 月亲自观摩原作之后；另一方面，也得益于专业摄影师斯特法诺·马西奥韦基奥（Stefano Masciovecchio）所进行的初步技术—摄影调查（其工作室位于新米兰市 Nova Milanese）。正是这项调查，在同年 7 月即已成功揭示出该素描纸张载体在横纹结构（vergatura）方面的若干关键特征，为后续研究奠定了基础。
